m - How would you introduce yourself?
D - I'm a lover of all things Indian, be it craft, textiles, architecture, classical music, food, and especially its diversities. My dream is to travel to every corner of India collecting memories and stories of craft and textiles.
m - How would you describe your style?
D - I find that I now crave things that are connected to my roots and the second is simplicity in design. I suppose this is why I love wearing a saree; because to me, it represents both of those things.
m - How do you feel when you wear a Jewelry?
D - I feel nostalgic when I wear this jewelry because these pieces remind me of a time in the past—the style, the beautiful finish, it’s very elegant, it’s very feminine. It makes me feel like a beautiful woman.
m - What has been your fondest memory with jewelry?
D - My fondest memory with jewelry was discovering and learning about the Golconda diamonds. I learned that the name came from the geographic location of Golconda in Andhra Pradesh where they were actually mined.
