The Marliyn Earrings are a whimsical take on the classic diamond and pearl pairing. Up top, a small cluster of natural diamonds sits close to the ear, neat and unfussy. It then drops into an oval frame of natural brilliant-cut diamonds holding three pearls in place, with a ring of diamonds wrapping the centre pearl for a quiet sparkle right where the eye lands. note from the designer
Puja's journey with art and design started in New York, where she was formally trained in jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum of Art, discovering India’s incredible heritage in crafts, materials, and techniques, which is where her deep fascination with the history and beauty of traditional Indian jewelry began. She is deeply inspired by the exquisite textiles, jewelry, furniture, and household artefacts of the 19th and 20th centuries that use materials and techniques inherent to India but are influenced by Persian, European, and Asian cultures.
