m - How does self-expression influence your work and your everyday style?
E - Self-expression means a lot to me. At work, I share parts of my life to inspire women of colour in tech and fashion. In my everyday style, it shows up in the beaded bracelets I wear “Saffron” for my dog and “Grateful” to keep me grounded.
m - What draws you to fine jewelry, and what joy or memories does it hold for you?
E - Bequeathed my late Naani’s bangles, she wore them every day. We were so close in the little time we had. I wear them now on special occasions to remind me of my heritage and my childhood summers in India.
m - What is that one piece of clothing or accessory that can instantly put you in a cheerful mood?
E - I was bequeathed my late Naani's (maternal grandmother) bangles which she wore every day we were very close, the little time we had together. I have now been wearing them on special occasions, to remind myself of my heritage and my childhood summers in India.
m - What is that one piece of clothing or accessory that can instantly put you in a cheerful mood?
E - My late Naani’s everyday bangles were passed down to me. I wear them on special occasions to stay connected to my heritage and the childhood summers I spent in India.
