She is often found at bookshops, galleries, museums - actively consuming art and being immersed in it. Her style is playful and elegant in equal measure, quiet basics lifted by a deliberate pop of color.
M - How do you honour your time when it truly belongs to you?
P - When my time is mine, I try to make the effort to go to bookshops, galleries, museums - actively consuming art and being immersed in it instead of theorising or seeing things online. It’s a special kind of treat to see things in person, and it always feels more gratifying and expansive.
M - How important is self-expression to you, and can you tell us how it shows in one thing you do at work and in your personal day-to-day style?
P - I tend to layer basics with more fun elements like a pop of colour, print or texture. I love accessorising and travelling with my jewelry pouch is absolutely essential even though it weighs a ton and always beeps at security.
M - What is that one piece of clothing or accessory that can instantly put you in a cheerful mood?
P - During summer last year I purchased a cashmere sweater from an independent brand in Marylebone. Its re stitched and tie dyed, so each piece from the brand is completely unique. The sweater I have is bright orange with a pink circle in the middle and a little too big for me but it feels great and instantly adds joy to an outfit.
M - What draws you to fine jewelry? How does it bring you joy, and are there any fond memories around jewelry that you cherish to date?
P - My family have passed me down a lot of pieces specifically from a French house specialised in crystal. Among them I enjoy wearing feminine pieces like this delicate blue butterfly and green heart shaped pendant. I love knowing that they were selected specifically and have lived a life before me. The bracelet I like best was actually my grandmother’s - chunky orange and coral shaped. It's so contemporary and feels bold but wearable. I'm fascinated by how timeless it is, playful and elegant at the same time.
